I assume the nurses role in ethics regarding evidence implementation and generation is to protect the clients rights. That includes but is not limited to:their right to informed consent, autonomy, justice and beneficence. Nurses contribute to ethical conduct of research and implementation of research findings through advocating for their clients and ensuring that no ethical guidelines have been crossed. Nurses should always be upholding their duty to their client and following the standards of client centered care.

I discovered that there were many benefits to animal assisted therapy. We discovered that animals can reduce stress and improve quality of life in oncology patients. It can also put a smile on their face. The literature appraisal and synthesis did not change my assumptions about the topic as I knew that AAI had positive effects on patient outcomes.
