This essay shows that I am able to correctly cite MLA sources. My professor made a comment at the end of my paper saying that I did it in the correct way and it was formatted correctly. I put my sources in alphabetical order, used The Little Seagull handbook to correctly format the sources in MLA and used hanging indentations. I made sure to keep my font size and style consistent, titling the page “Works cited” .
Before I handed in the paper, I had a lot of local revisions to make. I had many grammatical and spelling errors. If I did not take the time to implement these local changes, the clarity of my paper would have been hindered and the reader would not have understood the point that I was attempting to get across. Local revisions are important because sentence structure can occasionally turn out to be awkward and unorganized which can compromise your argument if they are not rewritten.
