CAT med-surg reflection
What went well with this CAT exam was the remediation. I feel like there were certain topics such as Addison’s disease that I repeatedly kept slipping up on and the remediation stimulated me to review those topics. I think I really need to rework my time management for my next CAT. I should really make sure to be remediating 10 questions a day following the receipt of my score. It is really difficult to do because of how tedious they are and how busy life is. Remediating 79 questions really is difficult and frustrating just due to the pure volume. I am proud of myself for persevering through this process and writing around 36 pages of remediations. I am not too happy with my scores. Hopefully over time and with practice these scores will improve.

What did you notice about the questions you answered incorrectly that might help you finish in fewer questions next time? Did you read too quickly or miss key words that may have caused you to incorrectly answer questions that you knew once you remediated them? This is important information to help you with test-taking strategies.
