Throughout the completion of this project I have learned how to analyze, and appraise evidence from various sources to support the use of a practice during my work as a nurse. It also provided me with insight as to my ability to work as a team with other nurses when attempting to implement quality improvement as well as evidence based practice initiatives. We worked well together to choose our articles, draft our evidence table as well as our paper. I discovered that, as a team member I serve an “initiator” type role in which I am typically the one to organize, as well as initiate scheduling for a session in which the group comes together to work on the paper.
